Interactive Business Systems (IBS) is an information technology consulting  firm exceling in both managed IT solutions and specialized contract staffing. We’ve been successful in providing IT consulting services for more than 37 years, and we continue to innovate. We support clients in numerous industries with six business units across the US as well as onshore and offshore development centers.

We are looking to add a Technical Recruiter to our Cincinnati team. We are an upbeat, productive team that works hard to maintain this atmosphere, so we are looking for more than just a warm body. The right candidate will be a hardworking and enthusiastic self-starter with great phone presence and an ability to multitask while maintaining a professional demeanor. What you’d be doing on the day-to-day:

  • Screen, interview, and recruit primarily nonexempt applicants for open positions
  • Building long lasting relationships with IT Consulting professionals
  • Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in the organization
  • Coordinate interviews between clients and consultants
  • Make hiring recommendations to businesses and notify applicants of consideration or declination; prepare and extend job offers
  • Conduct, review, and communicate results of applicant testing
  • Source through internal/external job fair events, advertisements, computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media, recruiting firms, and employee referral
  • Participate in various staffing-based projects/initiatives to promote and enhance the overall performance of the staffing department and business results
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with potential candidates and existing employees

What makes you competitive:

  • 1+ years of IT sales and recruiting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Quantifiable track record as a top-performing recruiter/recruitment assistant/etc
  • Innate ability to understand the client’s requirements
  • Experience screening candidates, conducting interviews, and performing reference checks
  • A proven ability to meet and exceed quotas and service level agreements
  • Strong initiative and the ability to successfully recruit for multiple openings simultaneously
  • Confidence in tapping a wide range of outlets – by phone and online – to source prospective candidates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
