Job Description


Responsible for assembling, analyzing, and representing customer business requirements. Performs feasibility analysis, scopes project, and recommends alternative solutions and project strategy and deliverable prioritization. Serves as senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures. Develops high level implementation plans. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Defines detailed requirements, analyzes business needs, and validates solutions with the client. Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts. Monitors other business analysts in software development methods and processes and implementation of those methods. Role typically requires more than 10 years of experience.


         Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

         Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

         Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.

         Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

         Responsible for defining detailed requirements, analyzing business needs, and validating SAP solutions with the client.

         Details requirements through product development and other functions to support the project team.

         Monitors other business analysts in software development methods and processes and implementation of those methods.

         Evaluates development projects. Assists in tailoring the development process to meet the project needs.

Analysis and Solution Definition

         Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of business lines and business service delivery teams

         Collaboratively defines and documents functional and technical requirements and specifications, business processes, workflows, and reporting outputs

         Creates user-interfaces prototypes (containing minimal functionality) in a user-centric design process

         Elicits requirements using, requirements workshops, focus groups, interviews, surveys, document analysis, etc.

         Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and distinguishes user requests from the underlying true needs

         Leads design and review sessions with technical and business staffs, including all levels of management.

         Identifies gaps in business requirements and document those issues.

         Participates in business-led change management processes

         Delivers high-quality projects on time and on budget


         Develops and executes functional test plans with business subject matter experts

         Develops user acceptance test (UAT) plans and tools, and manages the UAT process

         Identifies, documents, tracks, reports on and resolves issues in a timely manner

         Communicates needed changes to development team

Project Execution

         Creates initial project proposals, project charters, and statements of work for clients and business units

         Assists in management of project deadlines and schedules

         Communicates and applies project standards

         Manages resources in accordance with project schedule

         Consistently delivers high-quality services

         Develops training, reference guides, and product support materials

Product Management

         Maintains thorough knowledge of customer segments and customer needs

         Maintains thorough understanding of product features and functionality

         Coordinates customer input and feedback activities, including steering committees, user groups, and ongoing communication


Interfaces with customers across multiple business units; works with various IT functional areas, including development, infrastructure, training and adoption, and transition teams as necessary for projects; works with business leads and functional process owners.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

•                     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required, including an understanding of how to interpret customer requests and translate them into application and operational requirements

Minimum Experience

•                     10+ years of relevant experience

•                     Experience in managing simultaneous complex tasks from inception to successful completion

•                     Experience in real estate Industry a plus

Educational Level /Certifications

•                     Bachelor’s degree, preferably in information systems, computer science, or business administration

•                     Six Sigma certification or exposure preferred
